Touch by Wayne F. Burke

the drunk girl puts her hand
on my thigh
and god,
it feels good
to be touched,
but
Christ,
is she shit-faced!
And wants to go home with me
too
but
man, I can’t make that scene
with her;
don’t want it,
don’t like the smell of her mouthwash-breath
either.
