What Is Left From This by John Patrick Robbins

Sometimes we hold on till something becomes a twisted parody of that which it was never meant to be.

A rose for all its beauty .
Is simply flawless for seconds in its demise .

I cannot grasp that which will never be said .
Now in the ashes.
We search for promise where only pain does exist.

John Patrick Robbins

John Patrick Robbins is a barroom poet and professional drinker and fulltime smart ass. My works been published with In Between Hangovers . I also can be read on most websites and probably a few bathroom walls also. It is unfiltered like my thoughts . Cheers .
