pain has to be felt
I’m drunk, doped up
the hospital pricked me, ouch
with a needle
hating pain, this drip in vein
throbbing, trembling like
the feeling of a truck passing a car
trust me, I’m sore
a hand in your face felt like the smashing of a plate
several times over, I’m so sorry.
