Do You Want More Kvetch-up With That? by Paul Tristram

Oh my, You’ve got that whining down
to an excruciatingly untuned musical pitch.
There are crystal glasses exploding
inside everyone’s minds around you
and you are absolutely oblivious?
Grating, is your aura, pastime and energy!
The Summer in eyes, smiles and conversation
withers and dies a thousand tortured deaths.
As everybody stops eating, thinking
and being themselves as you complain
about nothing and everything in particular.
Violin strings twanging and breaking
like fingers around tranquillity’s throat.
This is HELL and we are all being punished,
I can feel it right down to my un-deaf bones.
