On Fire by Jennifer Lagier

Alice misses Ralph,
his hands on her breasts,
love beneath a full moon.

Dirty words whispered
into her ear as he fondles
her ass during rough sex.

Wishes he’d reappear
to steam up her nights,
put colors back into day.

Not for keeps, but for fun,
craves his lusty presence
every now and again.
