Too Long the Loner by Stephen Jarrell Williams

She came up through the ground
As if from the grave

Beautiful and fresh
Silk skin
Shiny soft
Lovely to touch
Heavenly to hold

But I was afraid
Until she smiled

The earth falling away from her
As she rose completely naked
Angelic
Pure
Apparition
Twisted with all the years

Loneliness
Bewitching me.
