Midnight Alley by Bradford Middleton

Midnight has come and I feel as lonely as hell
The idea of finding a woman in a bar, no chance of that
Not in this town, not in this lifetime
And I’ve already spent a bundle trying to forget the horror of past encounters
All I’ve got left is a little bit of cash but tonight, well
The need for a late night erotic fumble have reached unbearable levels
With the kind of money I got right now
There’s really only one place I can go, Midnight Alley!

Bradford Middleton was born in south-east London in 1971 and spent the next thirty years trying to escape. He now lives in Brighton and has been trying to escape here since about 2008. He’s recently completed a novel, DIVE, and can be followed on Twitter @beatnikbraduk.
