What if Darwin was dyslexic
and got it all wrong?
We are the evolver
and they are the evolved?
What if things sprang from us
and progress isn’t more but less?
What if nature is a bargain hunter
looking for the least and making
the most of it?
What if we are the complicated
and are waiting to be simplified?
What if monkeys are most advanced
and human arms are growing longer?
What if walking on two feet is a start
and walking on all fours is the finish?
What if all science is looking back
and we move on?
